First of all let me say thank you.  Thank you for taking your time and visiting our website.  I'm privileged to be at Harmony Baptist and honored to serve the Lord while shepparding his church.

Let me tell you a little about myself, I'm married to my wife Courtney and she truly is the better half of me.  She keeps me grounded while still allowing me to soar.  I love her so much.  I also have two incredibly ornery children, Jaycee 5 and Canyon 1.  The Lord has truly blessed my life with Godly influences. And everyday literally is an adventure.  I love the outdoors, biking, camping, snowboarding, traveling, and playing my guitar. Oh, and I don't take myself to seriously.

Now a little about my testimony.  I gave my life to the Lord while I was young.  I wanted to always please the Lord, but it has taken me many years to understand what that entails.  I'm a human being that is trying my best to become more like the image of Christ every day, but please don't come to church to hear me.  Because being that human I will not be able to satisfy, and I will mess up, only Jesus will never fail you.

I've been serving the Lord full time for 11 years and only been a pastor for almost two years now.  And I'm completely humbled every day.  I have to rely on my Savior and His word to get me through day by day.  As the pastor, I try to relate to our people by being one of them,  I'm not eloquent nor do I have perfect hair, or any in that case, but I love the Lord and His church.  My mission as the pastor is to follow Christ's example, and seek and save the lost, and to see his church grow into servants and ministers.

I grew up in Sallisaw, Oklahoma until 13 years old then moving to Gallup New Mexico.  After graduating from Gallup High School in 1993, I joined the Air Force.  I was able to see the world and began to feel the "lostness" and the burden to serve.

After 4 years in the Air Force I entered College in Durant Oklahoma and Graduated with a degree in Business, and immediately went to work for a bank.  While employed at the bank I knew that I had abandoned a calling that God had placed on my life.  I surrender to ministry and began to serve in my local church in Durant.  I loved working with students and seeing them break the mold that this world tries to place them in.  A position opened in the church I was attending, Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, and began my first ministry position.

God then began to stir in my life and felt God calling us to move to Harmony Baptist church and serve as their Youth Minister.  I was excited, my wife and I stepped out in faith and moved our family to the country, or the sticks as my daughter likes to say.  And since then we have been amazed by the support, encouragement, and willingness to serve.  This is like no other church I have been a part of.  They actually love one another!!!

Once again, I'm honored to be a part of the Lord's church and humbled to serve in this capacity.  I hope you can find hope in our community of Harmony and Follow after Him.
